Aberdeen Medical Research Bus Launch
With our global headquarters based in Aberdeen, First naturally has a keen interest in the overall success of the city and indeed the northeast as a whole. We are very proud to support the University of Aberdeen's critical research into improving prevention, finding better treatment and care for those that are affected by conditions such as cancer, diabetes, alzheimer's, autism and the like.
It is important that as a city we support and encourage the medical breakthroughs that can touch all our lives. There are only a lucky few in society who have not suffered or witnessed loved ones suffer from these conditions and others.
To help raise awareness First have donated a bus, which has been wrapped specifically for this purpose. The bus itself is very distinctive and we are certain it will shortly become one of the most recognised operating in the city, and will play a major role in raising awareness and encourage both the public and local organisations to consider supporting medical research at the University of Aberdeen.
