Community
We measure and report our community investment using the London Benchmarking Group (LBG) model. The LBG provides a consistent and comprehensive measurement of our charitable contributions, including gifts in kind, cash donations and volunteered time.
In the year 2010/11 we contributed £2,451,775 to the communities in which we work. This is £603,968 more than last year with the increase largely due to gifts in kind. This represents 2% of pre-tax profits which are down on previous years.
We are committed to making a real difference to the communities in which we operate by supporting a wide range of charitable causes and community organisations.
