Voting Rights and Capital
In conformity with the FSA’s Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, FirstGroup plc advises that as at 30 May 2008 its capital now consists of 482,067,170 ordinary shares with voting rights.
FirstGroup plc holds 378,254 of its ordinary shares in Treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in FirstGroup plc is 481,688,916.
The above figure (481,688,916) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, FirstGroup plc under the FSA’s Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
