BOARD CHANGE
David Leeder has announced his intention to step down from the Board of FirstGroup plc to pursue alternative business interests outside the Group.
Sir Moir Lockhead said: “I would like to thank David for his substantial contribution to the profitable growth of FirstGroup over the last seven years, initially as Managing Director UK Bus and more recently as International Development Director. On behalf of the Board I wish David every success for the future.”
David Leeder said: “After seven years at First and following the successful rejuvenation of Greyhound Lines as part of the acquisition of Laidlaw International Inc., I believe that the time is right to move on to new challenges.”
He will continue to provide on-going advice to the Group Chief Executive in relation to the Greyhound business.
