First Rail Support is a subsidiary of FirstGroup PLC and operates a Management Support Operation for Railways, Airlines and other Companies requiring road transport assistance via a 24 hour, 7 day a week control centre at Simonstone in Lancashire.

The control centre specialises in locating and providing transport in times of disruption to their normal services in both emergency and pre-planned situations for the move.

First Rail Support is keen to develop its database of approved operators, especially between the size of 16 and 70 seats. We are looking for suppliers who would be interested in working with First by offering any vehicles that they may have available for both emergency and pre-planned operations.

Our normal payment terms are via BACS and we aim to pay all invoices within14 days of receipt on pre-agreed rates.
