Busy days in FRS Control
Thursday 2 June 2011
Monday 23rd May was a busy day for FRS control when a combination of the bad weather and Iceland's ash cloud struck Scotland. Our control team mobilised 156 coaches at short notice to support our rail and airline customers and keep passengers moving safely to their destination.
On the following day we mobilised 133 coaches in response to new incidents and to move people from hotels back to airport and stations for their onward travel.
