Glastonbury Charter Train

FRS operated a successful charter train on Wednesday 22nd to take festival goers to Glastonbury. The train served Preston, Bolton, Manchester Piccadilly, Crewe and Stoke before going onwards to Frome. Road transport was provided by FRS from Frome to the festival site at Pilton.
The return journey on Monday was slightly more subdued arriving back in Preston at 17:30. FRS plans to operate further charter train services to Glastonbury in 2013.
