The most enjoyable trip that I have led!!
Monday 14 March 2011
Our low-season FSC Eco-adventure programmes are back for 2011/2012. Following a hugely successful Autumn and Winter we are pleased to announce that we and our partners at Castle Head are to run a similar range of travel-inclusive 2 night/3 day programmes between 1st November 2011 and the end of February 2012. Our all inclusive price for schools in the North West, North East and Yorkshire & Humberside is just £109 per student. Book now to reserve your visit as availability is taken fast and offered on a first come first served basis. Schools outside of these areas are also welcome to contact us for a very competitive quotation.
Whilst winter this year has been pretty harsh at times we have still managed to deliver every single group visit that was due to take place and in fact had some wonderful clear weather that groups enjoyed hugely. The large majority of groups who did take part over the last few months have already booked their space for next year, however we do still have spaces available.
Here are some comments from a secondary school group leader who led a visit to Castle Head at the beginning of February 2011 and who has already booked his space for 2012.
"Our Eco-adventure residential was superb in all respects and was one of the most enjoyable that I have led. We have already put a repeat visit into our programme for 2012. The students really enjoyed the visit and made a very good impression. As a school, we were proud of them. The balance of science/ecology and adventurous activity was just right and the travel and domestic arrangements were excellent. Castle Head is amongst the very best Centres I have visited. Thanks for your support with all the arrangements. This level of support must be a huge help for beginners at organising residentials, and saved me, even as an old hand at such things, a lot of work". John Haddon, Outdoor Activities and Duke of Edinburgh's Award Coordinator. Burnage Media Arts College, Manchester.
If you would like to join the growing number of schools who enjoy a residential visit during the low-season then call or email us to check availability for 2011/12.
