When and Where?

The first StreetCar has been built. It is currently undergoing extensive testing and evaluation which includes engineering test and further market research.

The first 'f t r' services will begin in York early in 2006. Detailed plans are being developed for other schemes in cities around the UK.

We are working closely with our PTE and local authority partners on the final choices which will depend on agreeing and delivering appropriate priorities and infrastructure - the 'f t r' Track.
