First Stage
Answer the questions on the website and submit your CV. You will receive a receipt to say we have received your application and we will review your application against our recruitment criteria.
Second Stage
If you are successful you will be asked to attend an assessment centre in March 2009.
This includes:
- 2 interviews with senior managers from First (bus and rail and division)
- A group exercise
- A group discussion facilitated by a senior manager
- A maths test, English test and psychometric test.
- A chance to talk informally with past graduates
Third stage
If candidates are successful they are invited to a final interview at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall. This lasts approx 1 hour and candidates are interview by 3 senior managers from the business.
Fourth Stage
If successful candidates are informed by phone and advised as to which company they will be joining. This is followed up with an offer letter and trainees are expected to start in September.
