"I graduated from the University of Dundee in June 2006 with an honours degree in Business Economics and Marketing.
I was attracted to First Group partly due to the size of the company but also because it offers an extensive and varied Graduate Training Programme, which includes experience in a large number of
the recognised fields within business such as Operations Management, Human Resources, Marketing, Procurement as well as the opportunity to get involved in projects and go on a wide range of training courses.
The programme, which lasts for 18 months, includes a series of placements within different areas of the business; each of which comes with a placement manager to help you achieve goals set down for you in a training folder. You are also given a mentor and a coach who help you to progress through the programme while keeping you motivated and giving you advice when you need it.
