Bargain Greyhound tickets for Portsmouth season ticket holders

Greyhound UK, which operates direct, low cost, luxurious coach travel between Portsmouth and London, may have given long suffering Portsmouth FC fans something to smile about this season. Every single season ticket holder at Portsmouth can now ride with Greyhound at a 25% discount. The discount applies to all 22 Greyhound services from today, any day, between Portsmouth and London for the rest of the season.
Alex Warner, Managing Director of Greyhound UK, said: “Portsmouth has a terrific support, one of the best in the Premiership. They have endured a difficult season so far, but we hope a trip to London for as little as 75p will help take their minds off being bottom of the league.”
He added: “Greyhound is right behind the club in its quest to get back up the league. With the team playing Chelsea and West Ham in London during December, we wanted to provide Pompey fans with an extra incentive to go along and get behind the team.”
Mark Muddie, Radio show host (Quay Radio) and Portsmouth fan said: “25% discount on all Greyhound services is a fantastic offer. I would anticipate lots of Pompey fans riding with Greyhound for our London away games. It’s a fantastic alternative with free wi-fi, plug sockets, complimentary newspapers, leather seats and lots of legroom. I am looking forward to travelling in luxury to the football for a change!”
Portsmouth season ticket holders booking on-line should use the promotion code, pompey25, and bring their season ticket with them on the day of travel to show the driver. Season ticket holders wishing to travel at the last minute can simply show the driver their season ticket on the day to qualify for the 25% discount.
Greyhound is chartering a coach to take Portsmouth fans to and from Stamford Bridge for the Chelsea game on December 16. To reserve a place for £10 return, contact alexwarner@greyhounduk.com. For all other London fixtures, season ticket holders can reserve seats from 75p at www.greyhounduk.com.
Portsmouth’s remaining London fixtures are as follows: Chelsea (16 December), West Ham (Boxing Day), Fulham (9 January) and Tottenham (27 March).
