- CIS and CCTV systems will be expanded to cover additional stations
- A telephone or help point will be installed at every First ScotRail station
- A major investment programme at key First ScotRail stations
- Introduction of new Automatic Ticket Issuing Machines at a number of stations
- Zero tolerance of ticketless travel with a strategy on automatic gates and extra staff
- JourneyCheck and JourneyAlert, providing live train running information via the internet, PDA or WAP enabled phones
- First ScotRail’s snacks and refreshment service have a new look menu, additional products, meal combos and special onboard offers
- TOD - investment in the National Ticket on Departure scheme now allows us to offer a ticket collection facility at many mainline stations across the Scottish rail network for customers who book online or through our Customer Contact Centre.
