Who's Benefited?

We believe in good causes

First Aberdeen is committed to supporting the local areas we serve in the city through a wide variety of in kind and financial contributions to both community organisations and charitable causes.

Here are just some of the local communities/charities First Aberdeen has supported.

UCAN

5 April 2012

First Aberdeen is to help local urological cancer charity UCAN spread the word about its latest £2.5million fundraising campaign by displaying posters on buses across the city.

The posters will be displayed on up to 50 buses on routes all over Aberdeen and it is expected they will be seen by thousands of passengers on a daily basis.

The posters give information on UCAN's latest fundraising campaign to raise £2.5million for Scotland's first Robotically Assisted Surgical System (RASS) and two integrated operating theatres for Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI).

This will be the second time First Aberdeen has supported the charity, after the company gave UCAN a branded bus in 2008 - featuring a naked man - which captured the attention of motorists and pedestrians alike and helped to raise awareness of urological cancers and the work of the charity.
