Message from the Regional Managing Director
Welcome to the First website for Bristol, Bath and the West.
Our business in the West of England is committed to providing passengers with excellent customer service and ensuring that our employees and our customers work and travel in the safest possible way.
During 2009 we had to adjust our business to take into account the effects of recession. This involved reducing the number of miles we ran and stopping some routes altogether. We also reduced some of our fares in Bristol to give our customers better value.
In the past 3 years we have spent £20million on 120 new buses for our Bristol Network. These buses run on the Greater Bristol Bus Network which is a series of bus routes that are being improved with new shelters, real time information and better bus priority. In partnership with the local authorities we hope that this investment will mark a step change in bus service provision.
Away from Bristol we continue to improve our services in Somerset and BANES. Our key aim is to make our services more reliable and punctual and so improve customer service.
