Priority Moments only on O2
LOCAL bus operator First is taking part in an initiative with mobile phone providers O2 to offer the phone company's customers reduced price FirstDay tickets.
The initiative, which is part of O2's Priority Moments Loyalty Rewards programme, offers O2 customers the opportunity to buy FirstDay Bristol bus tickets, valid for travel in zones 1 and 2 in the city, for £2 rather than the standard £4 dayrider fare. To access the reduced price fare, customers simply have to show drivers a promotional code on their mobile phones, which they have downloaded from the O2 Priority Moments website.
The reduced price ticket, which are available to buy after 10.00am each day (including weekends) covers unlimited travel in the city centre and out as far as Avonmouth, Bradley Stoke, Emersons Green, Long Ashton, Keynsham and Whitchurch.
The FirstDay Bristol ticket already offers great value for money providing unlimited travel for just £4, a price that has remained the same since 2010. The £2 reduced fare payable on presentation of the special O2 code equates to a £2 discount for those who would ordinarily buy adult FirstDay tickets. The initiative will be particularly welcomed by those wishing to make even greater savings on their bus travel.
