How to buy your First Child Tickets
Firstly, you'll need to get a Child Photocard, which is free of charge. To apply, simply download an application form and take it, with a passport sized photo and proof of age, to:
- Bristol Bus Station
- First Travel Shop, Bristol Bus Station

Once you have your Child Photocard, you can buy your FirstWeek Child or FirstMonth Child ticket from the same outlets, as long as you can show them your Photocard.
FirstDay Child tickets can be bought on the bus for only £3.60 - they let you travel all day throughout Bristol Zones 1 and 2 on Monday - Friday. At weekends and Public Holidays you can travel for just £2.60 a day.
Remember - you'll need to keep your Photocard with you when you use your FirstWeek Child or FirstMonth Child ticket on the bus.
Please note to qualify for a child fare, you must be under 16 years of age. An adult fare should be paid from your sixteenth birthday onwards.
Children under the age of 5 can travel free on First services when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
Please note all tickets purchased are valid for the inclusive dates on the ticket only, this includes bank holidays whether operational or not.
