Single & Return Tickets
For a one off journey just tell the driver where you want to go and purchase a single ticket using cash. If you're coming back the same day, ask for a return ticket; these offer savings on the price of two singles. Children's fares are also available and normally cost around three-quarters of the adult price.
The fare charged in Taunton depends which zone you are in. We have two ticket zones in Taunton:
- Zone 1 Central Taunton including Richard Huish College, Musgrove Hospital, Peter Street - Lyngford
- Zone 2 Bishop's Hull Crossroads, Norton Fitzwarren / Manor Park, Ladymead Road, Brittons Ash, Chestnut Drive
Just tell the driver where you are travelling and the correct ticket will be issued.
If you are making more than one journey in the day, it may save you money to purchase a FirstDay ticket.
