Places of Interest - Days Out in King's Lynn,Hunstanton & Sandringham
King's Lynn is a treasure trove for history lovers. Explore the historic core and discover some of the town's more unusual features. Hop on the ferry at Ferry Lane to west Lynn to take in and admire the picturesque view. The town has some magnificent 15th and 16th century architecture, England's only surviving Hanseatic Warehouse and the Custom House overlooking Purfleet Quay, which houses a maritime display and the Tourist Information Centre.
Take a trip to where the Great British seaside is alive and well - Hunstanton, or Sunny Hunny as it is affectionately known locally. It is the only east coast resort facing west. The main resort boasts a fabulous beach whilst Old Hunstanton has more of a village feel.
Sandringham House, the Royal Family's country retreat, is perhaps the most famous stately home in Norfolk and certainly one of the most beautiful. The house is set in 60 acres of stunning gardens with a museum of Royal vehicles and momentoes.
LYNN MUSEUM
Home of Seahenge - Discover the mysteries of this unique 4,000 year-old timber circle. Stand in our full size replica and learn about the Bronze Age people who created Seahenge. TOWN HOUSE MUEUM OF LYNN LIFE
Explore everyday life in Lynn through the ages in a series of carefully reconstructed rooms, from medieval times to the 1950s. Enjoy collections of historic costumes and toys and visit the delightful garden. Dotted about the displays are colourful games and activities that young children will enjoy discovering.

SANDRINGHAM
Sandringham is the much loved family home of Her Majesty The Queen and has been the private home of four generations of the British monarchs since 1862. Set in 60 acres of stunning gardens and is at the heart of the 20,000 acre Sandringham Estate. In addition to the magnificent House, the Sandringham Visitor Centre provides excellent facilities for visitors including a restaurant, gift shop and plant centre.
This is also the starting point for the very popular tractor and trailer tours, showing vistors parts of the Estate nor normally open to the public.
