Lowestoft, the Heart of the Sunrise Coast and officially the most easterly town in Great Britain provides a mix of wide expansive award-winning beaches, rich maritime heritage and broadland links, giving Lowestoft an eclectic mix for all ages. The sloping beaches provide an ideal place to relax and for children to play in the sand. On Lowestoft's Royal Plan are the Royal Plain Fountains that consist of 74 individual interactive water jets with variable lighting.
The South Pier and Claremont Pier both offer traditional seaside amusements and cafes, whilst London Road North provides shoppers with a chance of some retail therapy. The historic High Street and Triangle Market Place are renowned for being haunted; join a guided tour if you dare.

Don't let the year slip by without a visit to the regions biggest theme park. From adrenelin-fuelled white knuckle thrill rides to white water family favourites and not forgetting "Wipeout", the tallest rollercoaster in the east of England.
