St John's Ambulance Receives Donation From First Group

ST John Ambulance Norfolk are celebrating after receiving an extremely generous £5000 donation from First Group


After steadily fundraising for nearly 10 years, the Hellesdon Division of St John Ambulance Norfolk has been in desperate need of a new First Aid Treatment Unit, to replace their current 20 year old model.

Thanks to the charitable offering by the Charity and Sponsorship Committee of First the division are finally able to purchase the new Unit, to be used all over the county at local events.

St John Ambulance Norfolk is a huge part of the regions community and has a high visibility at the likes of football matches and town festivities. It is also on call to support the Ambulance service where required.

Harold Underwood, Divisional Superintendent of Hellesdon Division, commented ‘We are so grateful to First. After fundraising for such a long period of time it is a real boost to have this donation, and everyone within the division is very excited about purchasing the new Unit.

Gussy Alamein, Marketing and Communications Manager of First, said ‘First is proud to support St John Ambulance Hellesdon and hope that this donation will assist them in continuing their valuable work.
