With the recent combining of our Essex and Eastern Counties companies, First is proud to be able to provide an unrivalled service to this corner of the country.
Our variety of routes, fares and bus times mean that we can provide you with a reliable and efficient service to get you where you are going, when you want to be there. Whether you are a visitor to the area or a resident, are looking to travel in or out of our various towns and cities, or just looking for a day at the beach, our networks can offer a value for money and environmentally friendly alternative to taking the car for many journeys.
We are all facing tough economic times so we are working closely with the 'Greener Journey' travel scheme, even for car users it sometimes makes good sense to use the bus.
We have recently invested nearly £1.7million into a cascade programme of newer buses for Essex from London; look out for the newer buses on services near you now!
We continue to work hard on our Punctuality plans, these plans will be the main reason for any service changes so that we may improve out reliability and punctuality. We recognise service changes can be inconvenient and so we communicate those changes as best as possible through on bus notices, radio, website impending service changes, local newspapers and the social network site Twitter.
