Message from the Managing Director

Ronnie Park MD

As the biggest bus operator in Glasgow we take our responsibility to get people where they want to go and when they want to go very seriously. Our winter weather preparations are well underway and we are keeping our customers updated with news of any disruptions on our website homepage and via Twitter. For up-to-date information on the go, you can also sign-up to receive alerts via Twitter at twitter.com/firstinglasgow.

With over 100 services in our Greater Glasgow bus network we have services passing Glasgow's most iconic visitor destinations including Glasgow's fantastic new Riverside Museum and Kelvingrove Art Gallery as well as express services offering commuters a quick and easy route into the city centre for work as well as a trip to some of the best shopping and leisure areas in the country.

If you're jetting away this festive season why not hop on board our service 500 Glasgow Shuttle to and from Glasgow airport and Glasgow city centre for only £5.00 single.

On this website you'll find all of our timetables (including the option to print these in a large-print format), a journey planner and ticket information as well as details of our service levels from 24 December through to 6 January.

Our bus fleet is now made up of more than 80% low-floor vehicles making accessing services easier for those with mobility issues, those travelling with a child in a buggy or those using a wheelchair. We are working to further improve this by replacing older 'step-entrance' buses with low-floor vehicles.

We know that from time to time things can go wrong and that you, our customers, will come up with ideas that can help us to further improve the service we offer. Please keep in touch with us through our 'Contact Us' page or by calling our 24-hour customer services line on 0141 423 6600.

Finally, may I take this opportunity to thank you for travelling with First, we appreciate your custom.
