Environment First
In a bid to further improve the environment for everyone in Glasgow, all our new buses are fitted with low emission environmentally friendly engines, with many benefiting from Euro 3 engines that are the most environmentally friendly engines currently available on the market. As a transport operator, we admit we have a significant effect on the environment, and have a responsibility to take action in reducing our environmental impact. However, our growth and development as a public bus company is directly beneficial to the environment - as the greater number of passengers we carry is indicative of fewer people using cars, and consequently a reduction in damage to the environment.
As a company we are leading the transport sector in pioneering environmentally friendly transport using low sulphur fuels and gas powered vehicles as well as low emission buses.
