Belle Vue Greyhound Stadium
Greyhound Stadium incorporating a 400-cover restaurant, 2 executive suites, 6 licensed bars and 2 fast food outlets. Speedway takes place on Monday nights. The venue is ideal for individuals and groups between 10 and 200 for corporate entertainment. It is a night out with a difference. Greyhound racing takes place on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Ten Stockcar meetings are also held throughout the year, please phone for details.

The Bridgewater Hall
This state-of-the-art 2,400-seat auditorium, with magnificent Marcussen pipe organ, opened in September 1996. Concerts range from classical and jazz through to world and popular music. It is the home of Manchester's renowned Hallé Orchestra as well as being the performance base for the city's other distinguished ensembles, the BBC Philharmonic and Manchester Camera.

City of Manchester Stadium
Manchester City Football Club moved to their new home, the City of Manchester Stadium, in July 2003. Boasting state of the art facilities, the Stadium makes the ideal venue for myriad events, including conferences, weddings, launches and dinners, along with match day hospitality. Every one of the 48,000 seats provides a perfect view of the pitch. The City of Manchester Stadium has been formed in a unique bowl shape and proved a spectacular host for the 2002 Commonwealth Games. Manchester Evening News Arena (MEN)
MEN Arena is situated at and on Victoria railway station. It is on the north side of the city centre, and is well signposted on all major road routes into the city. The Arena is the largest indoor-seated arena in Europe.

The Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester
The Museum is based on the site of the oldest passenger railway station in the world. The huge, 7½-acre site has five historic buildings packed with fascinating exhibitions, hands-on galleries, historic working machinery and superb Special Exhibitions.

Museum of Transport
The museum has one of the largest transport collections in the country with 90 buses and a small number of other vehicles that represent public transport in the Greater Manchester area, with archives and small exhibits. Special events occur during the year, including a spring and autumn festival, the Heaton Park rally and a special weekend for disabled people.

Urbis
Urbis is a new kind of museum set in a dramatic glass building rising high above the centre of Manchester. Interactive exhibits lead you on a journey exploring life in different cities around the world. Urbis focuses especially on the cities of Los Angeles, Manchester, Paris, Sao Paolo, Singapore and Tokyo. Your visit to Urbis begins with a one-minute sky glide in The MEN Glass Elevator. With the city as backdrop, you can then explore the four cascading exhibition floors at your own pace.

Greater Manchester Police Museum
Greater Manchester Police Museum is set in a Victorian police station built in 1879 and features the development of policing from the Peeler to the present day. There is also a collection of police uniforms from around the world, and a magistrate's court from the late 19th century.

Manchester Velodrome
A national cycling centre. Britain's only Olympic standard 250m indoor wooden cycle track. Part of the 2002 Commonwealth Games event venue sports facility. As well as major sports events for spectators, the centre offers a wide range of track related sessions for all levels of ability. Home of British track cycling. Regular events held for cycling, gymnastics, badminton, basketball and many other sports. Venue for exhibitions, seminars and conferences.
