Jeremy Long Appointed MD of FirstGroups Rail Division

FirstGroup plc today appointed Jeremy Long as the new Managing Director of the companys rail division replacing Dean Finch who was promoted to FirstGroup plcs board as Commercial Director last week.
Jeremy will take charge of all the companys existing UK passenger and freight rail operations. As Commercial Director, Dean will retain responsibility for new rail business and re-franchising.
Jeremy is currently Chief Executive of GB Railways, which was acquired by FirstGroup last autumn.
