Single fares in Leeds are Simple!
If you only travel occasionally, or are just trying our services for the first time Simple Fares are ideal. Simple Fares are designed to make it easy to see what fare you will pay - but if you need any extra help, just ask your driver.
Short Hop - £1.10
Typically 4 stops which can be within or across the green boundary.
Longer Hop - £2.10
Within the green zone, for longer journeys between Leeds City Centre and the green boundary.
Outside the green zone, for journeys typically more than 4 stops and of intermediate length.
Hop Across Leeds - £2.80 / £2.50 off-peak*
Journeys that cross the green boundary or the city centre or both.
This fare also applies for longer journeys outside the green boundary.
On some shorter Hop Across Leeds journeys, it may be cheaper to buy two Short Hop tickets. In this case, your driver will automatically issue a £2.10 ticket.
Special £1 fare on services 1, 6, 28 & 97 between Arndale Centre and University Steps.
New £1 fare from 1 April 2013 - Service 28 Liberty Dock to/from University Steps.
*Peak fares are charged until 0930 and between 1500 & 1800, Monday-Friday (not Bank Holidays).
Children under 11, and those aged 11-18 who hold a Young Person's or Scholar's permit are entitled to half the adult single fare.
