Service 95: The Bright Orange Bus
Rail Station - University - Headingley - Bodington Hall

Ride the Orange bus

Operating every 10 minutes during the day and with the last departure around 3am Monday-Saturday serving the University, Headingley and Bodington Hall grounds the Bright Orange Bus gets you everywhere.

Between Headingley Arndale Centre and the University it's a tiny £1 for each journey!

Leeds University Campus

With up to 30 or more departures every hour from Leeds City Centre, First buses are the ideal way to get to University! Services 1, 6, 28, 95 & 97 all operate directly past the Parkinson Building, and service 56 stops on Clarendon Road (close to the business school).

LeedsCityBus operates every 10 minutes around the City Centre, serving the University, Rail Station, Bus Station and main shopping areas and is only 50p for each single journey - and holders of unlimited travel tickets can use the service for free.

Bodington Hall

The Bright Orange Bus, service 95 comes into Bodington Hall grounds so you can grab vital extra minutes in bed! Services operate every 10 minutes, Monday-Saturday daytime (with extra buses put on to get you to 9am lectures, so there's no excuse!) and until 3am Monday-Saturday nights.

Need to get groceries (and Mum & Dad aren't around to pay) service 1 stops at the entrance to Bodington Hall and stops at Asda (the bus will say Holt Park on the front) - every 10 minutes, Monday-Friday daytime. Service 95 also calls past Headingley Arndale Centre which is home to Sainsbury's Local and Wilkinsons.

For the City Centre jump on either service 95 or service 1. Service 1 operates earlier on Sunday morning (if you're up that early).

Oxley Hall

Service 28 calls on Weetwood Lane, just outside Oxley Hall and runs straight past the University & into the City Centre to the City Bus Station every 20 minutes Monday-Saturday daytime and hourly on Sundays and in the evening.

Staying out later? The Bright Orange Bus stops on Otley Road - a short walk from Oxley Hall and operates until 3am Monday-Saturday nights.

For grocery shopping, hop on services 1 or 6 towards Holt Park and they'll take you to Asda (service 6 is quicker) or service 28 calls past Headingley Arndale Centre which is home to Sainsbury's Local and Wilkinsons.

Clarence Dock

Service 28 starts on Clarence Road and operates to the City Bus Station, the University Campus, Headingley and past Oxley Hall for University of Leeds sports facilities. It runs every 20 minutes Monday-Saturday daytime, with some later evening journeys from the City Bus Station to the Hall.

Headingley area

You're spoilt for choice for First services in Headingley, with services 1, 6, 28, 95 & 97 operating up to 24 buses every hour to the University and City Centre. On service 95, travel between Headingley Arndale Centre and the University is a tiny £1!

Staying out later? Service 95 also operates until 3am Monday-Saturday nights.

Carnegie Stadium area

Service 56 operates up every 8 minutes during the day on Queenswood Drive, Cardigan Road and the surrounding area and runs past the University on Clarendon Road and Woodhouse Lane to the City Centre.

Leeds Met University

LeedsCityBus operates every 10 minutes around the City Centre, serving the Civic Campus, Rail Station, Bus Station and main shopping areas and is only 50p for each single journey - and holders of unlimited travel tickets can use the service for free.

For the Headingley Campus, services 1, 6, 28, 95 & 97 operate up to 24 buses every hour from the City Centre through Headingley and stop close to the Headingley Campus.

Leeds Trinity University College

Service 97 operates every 20 minutes during the day from the City Centre & Headingley to Leeds Trinity University College.
