Welcome to First’s London website. This site is for anyone who would like to know more about our services. If you use our buses, are looking for a job with our company or are a bus enthusiast there will be something of interest here. First operates buses in London under contract to Transport for London. We aim to run safe, innovative, reliable and sustainable bus services and it is our intention to be the best in London.

We have introduced over 120 new buses into the London fleet since the start of the year, with orders for another 76 to be delivered later this year. This will see the introduction of Volvo B9 type buses into the fleet with Wright bus Gemini 2 bodywork First continues to trial the first examples of the new Wrightbus double-decker. These low floor modular vehicles offer many new features which are designed to make buses safer, quieter, lighter and more energy efficient. These new buses give the choice of either conventional diesel or hybrid-electric drivelines, without changing the layout and specification of the vehicle. Look out for them on route 328.
