Welcome to the First in London website. It contains information for anyone with an interest in our Services. Whether you are a passenger, are interested in joining FirstGroup or you are a bus enthusiast; there will be something for you.

First in London operates buses in the Capital under contract to Transport for London (TfL). We operate from nine depots across London from Uxbridge in the West to Dagenham in the East.

Our aim to run safe, innovative, reliable and sustainable bus services. I am proud that my award winning team was recognised for this:-

2010 is an exciting year for us with the planned introduction of over 120 new buses (as at 1 January) into the London fleet. Further new vehicles will include cutting edge technology of 5 hydrogen fuel powered vehicles funded by Transport for London. This exciting project due to start in the later part of 2010 will see the vehicles introduced on route RV1. These vehicles differ from the previous fuel cell buses operated on route RV1 by having a hybrid driveline As a Green500 Silver Award winner we see the improvements that these fuel efficient vehicles will bring in reducing our carbon footprint and improving emission levels for the people of London.

We are ideally placed to help support the planning for the 2012 Olympic Games. This has already started in earnest and we want to help make the Games a success and to keep the arteries of the Capital moving for other Londoners and visitors to this great City.
