Congratulations to Francis Herbert, a driver at Northumberland Park depot, who is London's annual SuperStar! Francis receives £500 and is entered into the national final. He is in with a chance to win a 5 star holiday and spending money to a value of £5000! Francis was crowned a hero as he took control of the situation when the rear of his bus caught fire. Francis kept calm, and fortunately had time to call Code Red, the Police and the Garage with information. He evacuated the bus of all 50 passengers and none suffered any injuries. Mat Williams who nominated him, stated that this was 'a miracle considering the state of the bus and extent of fire'.
