More buses on Trafford Centre route

Bus passengers in Greater Manchester are getting a more frequent service to the city centre and The Trafford.
We are doubling the number of buses and journeys on the popular 100 route meaning it will now run every 10 minutes, Monday to Saturday.
To mark the launch we are offering people who live along the route, and Trafford Centre staff, the chance to take a free journey on one of the buses. We have introduced the improved frequency service as part of our long term aim to help get more cars off the road, to ease congestion and help the environment.
Claire Johnson, commercial director for First in Manchester, said: "The improvements to this service will enable us to further our commitment to providing quality, reliability and punctuality for our customers.
"We work hard to encourage passenger feedback and we always listen to their views so we can continue to make their journey as comfortable and convenient as possible and these extra buses will play a major role in improving our service on one of Manchester's busiest routes.'
The vehicles on the 100 route are low floor easy access single deck buses and run between Manchester city centre, Salford Shopping City, Eccles, Patricroft and The Trafford Centre, with an hourly service to Warrington.
Gordon McKinnon, director of operations at The Trafford Centre said "We are delighted with the news that First Manchester are significantly improving their level of bus provision to The Trafford Centre. We are committed to improving access to The Trafford Centre by bus and look forward to working closely with First to make these new routes a success'.
Featuring an eye-catching pink and purple design, the buses will operate every 10 minutes, Monday to Saturdays and four buses an hour at key shopping times on Sundays.
