Further to the investment of £34 million in 278 new buses across Greater Manchester in 2005/2006, we are pleased to announce an additional £7 million investment in 36 new double deck vehicles to enter service in 2007.

All the new buses will be fitted with the latest EU approved Euro 4engines that Significantly reduce the level of Co2 emissions.

All buses in our fleet already run on low sulphur diesel with the majority switching to zero sulphur diesel or bio-diesel by the end of January 2007.
