Terms and conditions


  1. The promotion will run for 12 months inclusive, commencing Monday 1st October 2007 ending Wednesday 31st October 2008.
  2. Entry is by post only, following the instructions provided below and on the posters and coves on the buses. To enter you must be at least 16 years of age. Employees and their families of First Group, its agents or anyone professionally connected to the promotion are not eligible to enter. Only one entry per person per month. Promotion only available within Greater Manchester.
  3. To participate you must send from a single month your one month’s worth of tickets; 40 singles, 20 Day Savers, 4 Weekly or 1 monthly with your name, address and contact telephone number attached inside a sealed envelope to Travel To Win Prize Draw, First, Wallshaw Street, Oldham, OL1 3TR.
  4. A combination of various tickets will not be accepted as an entry. Prize draw is open to concessionary travellers. All tickets must be First tickets. No System One or variant tickets are acceptable.
  5. The prize draw period is the first to last day of each inclusive month. Entries must be received by the 10th day of the following month to qualify for the draw relating to the previous month’s travel.
  6. One winner will be selected at random for each month from all the correct entries for each specific month on 14th of the following month under independent supervision. The Promoters’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. The final prize draw will take place on 14th November 2008. Last date for receipt of entries is 10th November 2008 (for October 2008 travel) Winners will be notified by post within 14 days of each draw.
  8. At the close of the promotion for a list of winners’ names and counties send a S.A.E to Travel To Win Prize Draw Winners, First, Wallshaw Street, Oldham, OL1 3TR after 23rd November 2008.
  9. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
  10. The promoter of this prize draw is First in Manchester, Wallshaw Street, Oldham, OL1 3TR.
  11. All data collected from this prize draw will be kept and used by First only in conjunction with related promotions and future news/offers. It will not be passed to third parties. Please state on your entry if you do not wish to be contacted with future news/offers.
  12. Entry into this prize draw implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
