We have a range of different tickets available to suit your different routines; whether you’re at lectures every day or once a week.
Also, everyone likes a bargain so we have some tickets that give you even greater money savings...
College Students
A range of First tickets are sold at each college in North Staffordshire at a specially discounted rate. Ask at your college for details of prices and from where they can be obtained.
University Students
A wide range of tickets are available on the bus at a discounted price on production ot your Uni ID card - sorry no cheques, cards or IOUs - only cash accepted.
FirstMonth and First3Month are only available from travel shops, which can be found at Newcastle or Hanley (City Centre) bus stations, or from the Student Union travel shop in the SU building at Keele University. Here are the ticket prices from 6 September 2009:
- FirstFare - £1.45 - any single journey in the City or Newcastle Borough area
- LongerJourney - £2.55 - any single journey in Staffordshire and South Cheshire.
- FirstDay (Peak) - £4.10 - purchase before 9am Monday to Friday for unlimited travel on First buses all day throughout Staffordshire and South Cheshire.
- FirstDay (Off-Peak) - £3.70 - purchase after 9am Monday to Friday (any time Sat/Sun/Bank Hols) for unlimited travel for the rest of the day on First Buses throughout Staffordshire and South Cheshire.
- Student 10 Trip - £12.30 - any 10 single journeys in Staffordshire and South Cheshire, use when you choose, no time limit.
- FirstMonth - £50 - One month’s unlimited travel on First buses throughout Staffordshire and South Cheshire.
- First3Month - £125 - like FirstMonth but 3 times as good!
