Aberdeen

First Football is a partnership initiative consisting of Strikers Indoor Football, Aberdeen Football Club, Grampian Police and First.

The tournament gives young people between the ages of 13 and 16 the opportunity to participate in an organised football tournament during the dark winter months.

Each annual tournament normally lasts around 14 weeks with games played every Saturday evening from January through to May.

In conjunction with our partners First provide free, dedicated coaches for all teams involved for the duration of the tournament.

Almost 500 children participate with winning teams going forward to represent Aberdeen in a national final later in the year.
