So what personal qualities are we looking for?
- You must be over 18 years of age.
- You need to hold a full current UK driving licence, which ideally would be clean - if you already have a Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) Licence then you can progress more quickly through our Training Scheme.
- You need to have a friendly, outgoing personality.
- You need to be in good health and pass a Company Medical.
- You need to be happy working with minimal supervision.
- Experience of working in a customer service environment would be useful.
Our Driver Training Programme
This will be undertaken in the driving school in Aberdeen. First offer full and comprehensive training to all new recruits. The training scheme is 2 weeks long and is carried out by fully qualified instructors.
On receipt of your provisional PCV licence you then sit a theory test through the DVLA.
All successful candidates will have a pre-employment medical with the Company Doctor on completion of tuition and PCV driving test.
Your training and support does not end when you leave our driving school. Each new recruit is assigned a Mentor or Buddy who works closely with him or her during their early weeks with the company to iron out any problems and offer encouragement and share experience.
After a few months you will have the opportunity to develop your skills further and undertake additional training towards a National Vocational Qualification.
