New Ticket Machines – Concession Smartcards
Further to the introduction of new ticket machines on our buses, we are now recording concession passes via the smartcard technology incorporated in the ticket machine.
A number of problems have been encountered and Transport Scotland has now issued revised instructions to drivers.
If your pass does not work on the ticket machine, you can hand your pass to the driver, he will issue you with a 7 day temporary pass, and a new card will be sent to you, or you can retain your pass, and take it to your local authority, where they will make arrangements to have a new pass issued.
