Welcome to First in Glasgow’s website. At First, we want to make travelling as easy and stress-free as possible and that is exactly what we have tried to do with this site - by populating it with easy to use maps, timetable information and local news updates.
That said, we recognise that there is always room for improvement and with this in mind, we very much welcome your feedback - about this website and indeed about everything else we do. In order to give us such feedback, please use our online feedback form and we promise to get back to you within 7 working days with our reply. Glasgow is one of the UK’s most vibrant, cosmopolitan and energetic cities and as a result it has something for everybody! Working as we do in such a ‘dynamic place’, we at First try to ensure that we meet the needs of an ever discerning public. For example, did you know:
- We have 24hr bus services at weekends with a 15 minute frequency on overnight bus services on some key routes (such as the 62).
- There are excellent value daily, weekly and annual tickets that will unlock a freedom for you to make use of our comprehensive network on a ‘hop on, hop off’ unlimited basis within a given timeframe.
- We pride ourselves as an Employer of Choice and are committed to facilitating sustainable growth in employee satisfaction.
- We have a double deck ‘Wedding Fleet’ for your special day as well as a good variety of other vehicles for hire.
- We offer the Streamline initiative. This is a £31m partnership with Glasgow City Council and others whereby road and signal priorities will be offered to satellite-tracked state-of-the-art buses on arterial routes into Glasgow City Centre.
- Our weekly and daily tickets can be bought from your friendly bus driver. It’s that simple!
More recent initiatives include the popular 747 Air Link service from Botanic Gardens to Glasgow Airport. This service also conveniently serves Partick, the Southern General Hospital, IKEA, Braehead Shopping Centre, Xscape and Renfrew Cross.
