LOCAL RUGBY CLUB RECEIVES AN EGG-STRA SPECIAL SURPRISE

East Kilbride Mini Rugby Club received an egg-stra special surprise this week when one of First's new tri-axle buses arrived to deliver a whole load of Easter eggs.

Glasgow's largest bus operator visited the club to be presented with a framed strip in recognition of the support First has given to the club over the last year. In return, the bus operator presented members of East Kilbride Mini Rugby Club with chocolate eggs. The boys and girls were delighted with the surprise and thought that a chocolate egg made a good replacement for a rugby ball.

Robert MacKinnon, Club Secretary said: "The support we get from First is great, especially in the current climate when money is tight. It helps us to provide better experiences and equipment for the boys and girls."

First in Glasgow's Executive Director, Alex Shearer, said: "We like to support local communities and sporting organisations wherever possible and its good to see the Mini Rugby Club taking a proactive approach to encouraging participation from the local area."
