There's a 'Buzz' about the place!

Young people across Greater Glasgow and the surrounding areas can now enjoy unlimited bus travel from just £1 per day thanks to the city's biggest bus operator, First in Glasgow.

First has launched a new 'Buzz' ticket for young people aged 16-18 years, offering discounted travel on the standard adult equivalent tickets.

Buzz tickets can be used for cheap bus travel on all First services operating on the Greater Glasgow network. Proof of age must be provided when buying a Buzz ticket for the very first time e.g. passports, driving licences (full or provisional), validate UK cards or birth certificates plus one other form of identity in the same name.

Alex Shearer, First in Glasgow's Commercial Director, said: "Buzz is the ideal ticket for young people not going on to further education (college and university students benefit from First student tickets) but who are instead staying on at school or starting work for the first time. I'm sure it will make a real difference for young people in our operating area and prove to be popular, creating a real 'Buzz' about the place!"

Buzz tickets can be purchased from Buchanan bus station, St Enoch subway station, East Kilbride bus station, Barratt's newsagents on Byres Road, Hamilton travel centre on Brandon Street, RS McColls in Cumbernauld shopping centre and First's travel centre at Brandon Arcade in Motherwell. Prices start at £9.50 for a one zone weekly ticket.
