Scheme offers O2 customers reduced price bus travel in Swansea
Tuesday 07 May 2013
New Offer Starts 12th May and runs until 29th June 2013
First is relaunching the O2 Priority Moments scheme in Swansea to include discounted all-week travel.
The initiative, which is part of O2s Priority Moments Loyalty Rewards programme, offers O2 customers the opportunity to buy FirstWeek Swansea City bus tickets, valid for travel in the area bounded by Jersey Marine Village, Bowen Arms, Birchgrove, Ynysforgan Roundabout, Morriston Hospital , Penllergaer Roundabout, Gorseinon Bus Station and Loughor (Ship & Castle), for just £13: a discount of £5 off the normal fare payable, on production of the priority moments code.
Tickets can be purchased on bus, direct from drivers. To access the reduced fare, customers simply have to show drivers a promotional code on their mobile phones, which they have downloaded from the O2 Priority Moments website.
Talking about the scheme, Marc Reddy, Regional Commercial and Business Growth Director for First in the South West and Wales, says: "Weve been working with O2 on previous promotions in Swansea which were well received. "Ultimately we see this as another exciting opportunity for us to work with a national partner to try and reach and reward our existing customer base as well as encouraging new people to try the bus.
"The FirstWeek Swansea City ticket already offers great value, providing unlimited travel for just £18 a day.'
As well as promotional literature appearing on buses to make customers aware of the scheme, O2 is also sending text messages to its customers in the area to make them aware of the offer.
