Improvements to 1A, 1B, 2, 3, 8 and 75

Route 3 will be extended from Slough Trading Estate to Cippenham from 19 September 2009. Buses will then continue beyond Cippenham to Slough via Eltham Avenue, Asda, Telford Drive (the section currently not served by buses) and Chalvey High Street. Some times of buses on route 8 will be adjusted to provide a regular 15-minute frequency with route 3 through Chalvey throughout most of the daytime.

Buses during the morning peak on routes 1A, 1B and 2 will be adjusted from the same date to provide a more reliable service. There will be no change to the general level of service during the daytime, but evening and Sunday times on route 2 will also be changed in connection with the improvements to route 3.

We are also taking this opportunity to adjust the times of route 75 between Maidenhead and Slough during the morning peak on Mondays to Fridays. The new times will improve reliabilty by giving buses even more time to travel along Bath Road, where traffic congestion continues to delay our services.

New timetables will be appearing at affected bus stops.
