Clacton Service Changes 14th June 2009
5/5A/6 Holland to Flatford Drive
0839 Holland to Clacton departs at 0830 and operates as a through journey to Flatford Drive
7/7X/8 Clacton to Walton-on-The-Naze
Increased to every 20 minutes with more direct journeys with reduced running time. Frinton Old Road will no longer be served, please see service 13 for replacement There will be three main versions as follows:
- 7 via Frinton Gates and Rochford Way. Terminates at Kino Rd in Waltion
- 7X via Frinton Gates. Terminates at the Naze
- 8 via Kirby-Le-Soken, Rochford Way, Frinton Gates: Terminates at Kino Rd in Walton during the daytime
10/11/12 Jaywick to Telford Road
Revised route and reduced to every 30minutes between Clacton and Telford Road. The section of route between Clacton to Jaywick will continue to have 4 buses per hour, with the service pattern as follows:
- 10 Telford Rd - Clacton - Jaywick via Lymington Ave and Three Jays hourly
- 11 Telford Rd - Clacton - Jaywick via Gorse Lane and Three Jays hourly
- 12 Clacton to Jaywick half-hourly via Tudor Estate
Kestrel Way and the section of Bures Rd up to Lymington Avenue will no longer be served (Service 4 and Hedingham 2 and 137 operate along this section of route).
13 Frinton to Walton Local Service
Hourly local service replacing local parts of 7 and 8 in Frinton Operates as follows:
Naze-Walton-Frinton Old Road Church-Kirby Cross-Kirby Le Soken- Rochford Way- Frinton Old Road-Walton- Naze.
17/18 Clacton to Point Clear
The first two early morning journeys from Point Clear will operate 10 minutes earlier.
74 Clacton to Colchester
Minor timing change Mon-Fri, 0630 Clacton to Colchester departs at 0625
76 Clacton to Colchester
Minor timing change Mon-Fri, 0730 Colchester to Clacton departs at 0720.
