1-1 to First and Colchester United!

First East England Buses and Colchester United Football Club have joined forces to offer cheap travel to fans during the forthcoming football season.
Now, fans can travel to the Colchester United Stadium on dedicated shuttle buses for just £1.00 on match days from the following locations:
· Service 120- Bruff Close
· Service 121- Layer Road Pubs
· Service 122- Severals Business
The shuttle buses will depart 2 hours before the start of each game on Saturday match days and 1 hour 45 minutes on weekday match days.

Fans can leave the stress of how to get to the game by car and save on their carbon emissions by using the shuttle service to their favourite game. First and Colchester United began working in partnership back in August 2008 with the aim of providing a reliable and affordable bus service for Colchester United fans.

Last year more than 1000 fans made use of the special shuttle buses and this year even more fans are expected to take the bus to the game.

Alan Pilbeam, Managing Director of First East England says: "We have worked closely with Colchester United to promote this fantastic £1.00 travel offer to their fans. Last year the offer proved immensely popular and we hope that this season even more fans will recognise just how easy it is to get to the game by bus.'
