First Fares Offer Value for Money

First East England is to offer more value for money to their valued Bus users.

Bus users can now experience extended trips in their local town area and connect onto further services in other zones to better suit their needs and make their journey on the bus as easy, enjoyable and cost effective as possible. In this current economic climate First understand and acknowledge the importance of providing tickets that provide more benefits to the end user.

Commencing September 1st 2009, a new initiative for Bus users to enjoy is the Basildon Inner Ticket offer. The ticket will now additionally cover the Southend Metro Zone, allowing customers in the Basildon area to connect onto services into the Southend area all on one ticket. Bus users living in the outer zone of Basildon can also enjoy this new Fare on the Basildon Outer Ticket, which will also cover the Southend Metro area. Kids can benefit too as there will be a new child weekly version of the Basildon Inner ticket priced at £12.
