Industrial Action-Suspended

First in Essex bus drivers have suspended their planned strike action on Monday 23rd November.
The action has been suspended following a meeting between First and Unite the Union today at which it was agreed between both parties to undertake further talks with the assistance of ACAS.

Says Alan Pilbeam, Managing Director of First in Essex:

"I am pleased that the strike action planned for Monday has been suspended. I am hopeful that, with the assistance of ACAS, we can bring closure to this dispute and end the disruption and inconvenience being caused to our passengers. "

All First in Essex bus services will operate normally on this day.
