First Essex operate three routes serving Stansted - local service 33, and express coaches X22 and the X30: all for less than the cost of a week's car parking.

We have three routes running to and from Stansted Airport:

Stansted Aircoach X22 - Stansted to Clacton (stopping at Braintree, Bradwell, Marks Tey, Essex University & Frating). Runs every two hours, seven days a week (except Christmas Day).

Stansted Aircoach X30 - The X30 runs every hour from Southend to Stansted (stopping at Prittlewell, Eastwood, Rayleigh, Barnston and Chelmsford) seven days a week (except Christmas Day).

Local service bus 33 - the 33 runs from Chelmsford bus station to Stansted airport 7 days a week, with services starting at 04.50 Monday to Friday, 03.05 on Sundays and 06.15 Saturdays - getting you from Chelmsford bus station to Stansted airport in 45 minutes.

Special Assistance

Stansted Airport provides a free service for passengers with reduced mobility to assist with their journey through the Terminal to the aircraft. Passengers are advised to book this free facility with their airline at least 48 hours before their flight departure to ensure the passengers receive the assistance they require. The ISS special assistance desk is located in the Terminal adjacent to Zones D & E.
