Bath (Zones 1, 2, 3)

Whether you travel every day or only occasionally in Bath, First has just the ticket for you.

Unless stated, all tickets are valid on all First bus services in Bath (Zone 1, 2 and 3) with the exception of Park and Ride Services and services operated on behalf of third parties or special events.

For a one-off journey, you need to purchase a single ticket from your driver. Children’s fares are normally around three-quarters of the adult price.  If you’re coming back the same day ask for a return ticket. These offer savings on the price of two singles.

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.  We have three ticket zones in Bath:

• Zone 1 – Central Bath
• Zone 2 – Lower Weston including the Royal United Hospital, Moorfields, Widcombe, Lambridge and Camden Road
• Zone 3 – the rest of the city of Bath

It works like this - If you just want to travel within Central Bath, you need a one zone ticket, but if you want to travel from, for example, Claverton Down (Zone 3)  to the City Centre – you need a three zone ticket.  Just tell your driver where you are going and the correct ticket will be issued.
