Whether you’re going to school, college or Uni, we’ve got a ticket for you – with some great discounts for students.

Please note that all student tickets are not valid on Park and Ride, Night Flyers, Bristol International Flyer and services operated on behalf of third parties or special events.

Under 16's

If you need to travel by bus to school, you may be entitled to discounted travel.  Please contact your Local Authority for details. 

If you do not meet the criteria set by your Local Authority, then First offers term tickets allowing 1 return journey (or two single journeys) before 7pm Monday – Friday. The price of the ticket is based on where you live and the location of your school.

Somerset
If you live in Somerset, to apply for a FirstTerm ticket, complete the application form (Autumn 2007 or Spring 2008 - both of these opens in a new window) including the name of your school/college, and send (along with a stamped addressed envelope) to:

If you live in the Bristol, Bath, Wells or Weston area, to apply for a Private Scholars ticket, complete the application form (Autumn 2007 or Spring 2008 - both of these opens in a new window) including the name of your school/college, and send (along with a stamped addressed envelope) to:
