Ongoing issues:

Work along the A420 corridor, St George causing delays of varying degrees throughout the working day. Affected services 41, 43, 44, 45, X67 & 332
Temporary signal on Russell Town Avenue for Traffic management works. Affected Services 6 & 7.
Ongoing work on Bath Road/Callington Road junction causing long delays in the general area. Affected services 36, 339. X39 and 904
Three - way traffic signals on Fishponds Road/Royate Hill junction causing significant delays.
Long delays throughout the day due to roadworks in the Bedminster area.
Longer than normal delays in the West Town Lane/Callington Road/ Bath Road area throughout the day.

29th September:
Fire on Fishponds Road. All affected services diverted and delayed until 06.35
09:00 Police diverting all vehicles from Warmley onto A4174 believed to be for a fuel/oil spillage.
13.46 Service 75 at Hartcliffe delays due to a RTA.
14.00 Significant congestion with associated delays in the Cribbs Causeway area and Gloucester Road for most of the afternoon.
16.00 - 18.00 significant congestion throughout Bristol affecting all services delays for up to an hour.

2nd October:
08.00 Severe delays Filton to Patchway on A38 also on A4174 for no specific reason.
15:00 Service 9 at Temple Meads slight delay because of fluid split on the floor. The bus was cleaned immediately for health and safety purposes.
21:00 Service 429 at Redcliffe Hill was delayed as some of the seats were unfortunately vandalised.

4th October:
Service 6 & 7 were diverted away from Gordon Road due to a fire. Services re-routed via Plummers Hill, Church Road severe delays throughout the day. The road was re-opened at 16.00
08:19: Service 20 and 21 delayed at Redcatch Hill because of temporary lights.
09:49 Services 41, 43, 44, 45 and 332 all delayed at Church Road because of roadworks.


6th October:
Service 6 & 7 were diverted away from Gordon Road due to a fire. Services re-routed via Plummers Hill, Church Road severe delays throughout the day. The road was re-opened at 16.00
11.00 Services 20, 21 and 51 at Rookery Farm the services are delayed because of parked cars blocking the road where people get off the bus.
13.30 Services 1, 40, 54, 73, 75, 318 at Cribbs causing long tailbacks.


8th October:
08.45: Service 73 @ Bowslands Way Bradley Stoke was diverted because of an overturned lorry. The road was re-opened at 14.46
18.58: Services 73, 75, 76, and 77 all diverted off Ashley Road due to an RTA.

9Th October:

Severe delays throughout Bristol in the afternoon/evening time due to adverse weather conditions
07.45: Services 44,45 and 332 at Hanham and St George experienced severe delays inbound.
08.03 Services 73 and X73 delayed at Filton Avenue due to heavy traffic.
09.18 Services 342, X30, X42 all delayed on the M32 outbound because of an RTA.
15.38: Services 6, 7, 36,43,44.45 and 332 all delayed at Lawrence Hill as the traffic lights were stuck on red.
16.34 Service 36 and 904 at Hungerford Road delayed because of an RTA.


10th October:

Four way temporary signals at the junction of Chalks Road & Church Road related to ongoing work along the A420 corridor.
08:00 Congestion on most arterial routes into Bristol which was particularly significant in the Brislington area due to the new signalised roundabout at the junction of Bath Road and Callington Road.
14.43 An articulated lorry was blocking bus stops in Broadmead outside Marks & Spencer, which blocked access to stops causing associated difficulties and delays.

11th October

08.45 Services 73, X73 and 74 at Parkway experienced long delays inbound.
17:00 all central services in Bristol City Centre were affected by a general build "up of traffic particularly around College Green and Park Street.
18.26 Services 1 and X14 were delayed as Falcondale Road was closed between Westbury Road, Stoke Lane due to an RTA.

15th October

06:00 Bond Street was due to be re-opened following work over the weekend but due to difficulties dismantling one of the cranes the road remained closed until 08.45. This caused significant congestion throughout central Bristol and significant disruption to schedules.
19:53 Services withdrawn from the Park Estate due to anti-social behaviour.


16th October

08:00 Congestion reported as much heavier than normal on most arterial routes. Roadworks in Lower Castle Street situated in the bus lanes caused delays throughout the day, as did roadworks in Bishopsworth during the morning rush hour.
15:00 Police activity in St Pauls caused delays
15:56 the M32 Junction 3 was closed because of an RTA this caused delays to services operating on peripheral routes.

17th October

06:00 Traffic lights at the Hambrook Junction were out of action. This cause significant delays in and around the area for most of the morning. Ashley Road in St Pauls was closed for the whole day due to a burst water main.

21st October

Horsefair/Penn Street was closed from midnight to 1900 due to crane dismantling. Diversions were made via Fairfax Street and Lower Castle Street outbound. This caused delays to all services using Broadmead.

09:00 Services 73, 75, and 77 on Gloucester Road outbound were suspended because of roadworks. A diversion was made via Wellington Hill.

22nd October - Half-term week

Cadogan Road closed for approx four weeks due to sewer repair works. Service 51 diverted accordingly.

23rd October

Temporary traffic lights in West Street, Old Market caused delays
Ongoing work in Bishopsworth caused delays to services 52, 75, 76 & 77
08:00 Long delays on Church Road during the pea, due to a lane reduction on the Lawrence Hill roundabout in place for road widening.
11:02 Temporary traffic lights at the junction of Queens Road and Pembroke Road in Clifton causing delays to services 8 & 9.

24th October

Heavier than normal congestion in Bromley Heath, Filton and Parkway.
Increased congestion in the Ashton, Hartcliffe and Portway areas due to a local football match.

26th October

09:00 Service 41 at the Bell Hill Road was delayed as the driver called an ambulance after a pedestrian tripped and fell off the pavement. This caused a slight delay to the service.
15:00 Roadworks at Cadogan Road caused significant delays in the area.
15:11 RTA on Crow lane, Henbury caused delays in the area.
